We Have Lift Off

I've been meaning to start this for a while but I always seem to be at my busiest when I think about it. Well this time I've gone and done it so theres no excuses any more.

I'm a developer and co-owner of a back-end specialist development company called I C One Two. We have been Database and implementation specialists for many years but in the last 5 -6 years we have been working with a number of groups and people in the photographic industry.

In 2007 we designed and developed in conjunction with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) the APPA competition judging system. The APPA judging system is a world's best leading system for judging traditional print mounted competitions.

From building strong understanding and working knowledge of photographic competitions and the photographic industry we launched the International Aperture Awards in 2008 to great success. The Aperture Awards are now in their 3rd year and entries are now open. Our continuing goal is to grow the competition into the worlds largest and most prestigious online competition.

We now focus almost exclusively on developing and managing online and traditional print competitions as well as designing and developing image feedback and critiquing services like Pro Feedback.
